Dr. Susan Amico received her D.P.M. degree at New York College of Podiatric Medicine. She completed her residency at the Veteran's Administration Medical Center in Washington, D.C.

Dr. Amico is a well known expert in her field of podiatry. She has been working as a podiatrist for 20 years. During those years she has been accepted into many distinguished professional organizations such as: American College of Foot Surgeons, The New York Podiatric Medical Association, American Podiatric Medical Association, and The American Podiatric Circulatory Society. She has Hospital affiliation with SIU Hospital, St. Vincent Catholic Medical Centers and Victory Memorial Hospital. She is a fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Orthopedic and Medicine. Dr. Amico performed research on Volkman's Ischemic Contracture and Dupturen's Contracture of the palms and soles.
